This journey takes you to the heart of creativity\u2014into the world of two distinctive self-taught artists, full of colors, stories, and insightful humor. <\/p>\n<p>Our first stop is Esa Pajulahti&#8217;s Promised Land miniature village, whose skillfully crafted structures, sculptures, and details tell stories of world politics, popular culture, biblical figures, and Finnish nature. A particular gem is Esa&#8217;s hand-decorated forest church, whose interior captivates with its detail and atmosphere. This destination is an experience that makes visitors pause and smile.  <\/p>\n<p>The trip continues to the home cottage of na\u00efve artist Enni Id (1904\u20131992), which is itself like a painting. The small red cottage bears Enni&#8217;s brushstrokes from floor to ceiling. Doors, furniture, jars, and baskets overflow with flowers, cat motifs, and depictions of rural life.
