This excursion uniquely combines culture, stories, and stunning nature. <\/p>\n<p>We will explore the church surroundings and the cultural landscape created by the old vicarage and municipal cottage. Along the way, you will hear fascinating stories about the local giant Hollo, Iron Age artifact discoveries, and how C.L. Engel, the architect who designed Helsinki&#8217;s Senate Square, is connected to Hollola church village. <\/p>\n<p>We will also climb the nearby Kapatuosia hill fort, where Stone Age people stopped over 8,000 years ago. From the Viking Age through the Middle Ages, the hill served as a refuge and defensive position. At the summit, you can climb the observation tower, which offers beautiful views over Lake Vesij\u00e4rvi.  <\/p>\n<p>The excursion is crowned with a delicious lunch in the church village.
