General information about the villas
Rental Period: The villa is available from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival until 12:00 PM on the day of departure. For weekend bookings, the villa is available from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival until 6:00 PM on Sunday evening.
Bed Linens and Towels: Included in the villa rental. (No changes during the stay.)
Cleaning: There is no mid-stay cleaning for the villa. Further information about cleaning upon check-out can be found below.
Electric Car Charging: Information available below.
Firewood: Additional firewood can be found either near the tennis court in the green storage (for villas 1-6 and Tuuletar, Aallotar, and Ilmatar) or at the Isohaapa main building (for villas 8, 10, 11, and 12).
Waste Disposal: The villa area has waste shelters for energy and mixed waste. Glass bottles can be placed next to these. Other waste (bio, cardboard, recycling paper, glass, and metal) collection bins are located in the waste shelter next to the Isohaapa main building.
Drinking Water: Tap water is drinkable and clean.
Housekeeping: Please contact us if you need additional cleaning for your villa. This can be arranged for an extra fee.
Shopping: The nearest stores are in Vääksy, about a 15-minute drive away.
Newspaper: You can forward your newspaper to the address Lehmonkärjentie 180, 17320 Asikkala during your stay.
Rowboat Use: Please return the boat to its place and ensure it is securely fastened. To allow rainwater to drain from the boat, open the plug and leave it on the seat or oar.
Can boats be launched from the shore? Small boats can be launched from the sandy beach, but we recommend a four-wheel-drive vehicle as the sand is soft.
Can you arrive at the villa by boat? Small boats or rowboats can be moored at the villa’s pier. Larger boats can dock at the Lehmonkärki marina, which is a walking distance from the villa area.
Outdoor Hot Tub: Please inform us in advance if you wish to use the outdoor hot tub so we can make the necessary preparations. More information on using the hot tubs can be found below.
Sauna: You can use the sauna in your villa at any time.
Fireplace: When starting a fire in the fireplace, open the vents and place the wood loosely. Once the fire is going, close the door. Follow the instructions for lighting a fire and ensure there is nothing flammable in front of the fireplace.
Grill Areas: You can grill using the grill at the villa or in the grill shelter. There is a communal grill shelter between the Isohaapa main building and the sandy beach. You are free to use the firewood. Please dispose of trash after using the grill shelter. During forest fire warnings, open fires are also prohibited at the grill sites.
Safety: The speed limit on the cottage roads is 30 km/h. In winter, be cautious of ice and snow falling from the villa roofs. To avoid this, please do not park cars under the eaves of the roofs. There is no winter maintenance on the villa yards and roads during the night. In winter, be cautious of slippery roads and paths. Always check with reception about the thickness of the lake ice before going on it.
Ice Swimming: You can swim in the ice hole from the Isohaapa pier throughout the winter.
Swimming Area for Villas 10, 11, and 12: The swimming area for villas 10, 11, and 12 is the pier located at the shore. Below is a picture of the swimming area and the route to the swimming area. If you need more information about the swimming area, we are happy to provide it.
Instructions for using the door code
- Enter the four-digit code calmly, one key at a time.
- Finally, press the lock icon in the bottom right corner.
- When you hear the confirmation sound, the door is open.
- If you want to leave the door in the open position, push the lock’s toggle switch down.
Note: If you enter the wrong code five times in a row, the system will lock for a few minutes.
Rules
1. Smoking is prohibited inside the villas, always use an ashtray when smoking on the terrace.
2. Playing music on the terrace and in the outdoor area is prohibited. Silence in the area between 22:00 and 08:00, when noise exceeding 45 decibels cannot be carried outside.
3. Burning outdoor fires on the terraces is strictly prohibited! Do not burn candles indoors without supervision and always remember to use a suitable base for candles. The paving stone of the fireplace cannot withstand the heat of the glow candles. Don’t forget to use the candle holder on the terraces as well.
4. It is forbidden to make an open fire anywhere other than at the barbecue places.
5. Do not put trash or hand towels in the toilet.
6. Clean bottles, cans, etc. garbage when you leave the villa area. Don’t throw anything into nature that doesn’t belong there.
7. Conducting electricity to other than heating the engine of your own car is prohibited. If you need electricity for your car, contact us. Charging of electric cars from the plugs on the exterior wall of the villa is prohibited. There are charging points suitable for charging electric cars in the area.
8. It is forbidden to run water from the villa to, for example, the children’s outdoor pool.
9. The use of air, paint ball and other similar weapons is prohibited in the villa area. You can get more detailed information about the playing fields for the weapons in question at the reception.
10. You have asked for permission to keep pets in the villa. Always keep pets on a leash in the area. Do not allow pets to swim at the public beach.
11. Equipment and places in public use in the area (e.g. playground, boats, etc.) are used at your own risk.
12. If you go outside in the forest for a longer period of time, remember to inform someone of your departure and the time of your return. Always take your mobile phone with you.
13. You can find the first aid guide in this folder. Call 112 in an emergency.
14. To protect privacy, do not photograph or record other customers visiting our area.
15. Filming the area with a Drone and various filming helicopters is prohibited!
Charging an electric car
Please always notify our reception about electric car charging. Up-to-date price lists are available at our reception.
Electric car charging points:
Villa Aurum (For guests of this specific villa only): 1 Type-2 (3x22kW)
Villa Vellamo: 1 Type-2 (3x22kW), 1 Tesla (3x22kW), 1 (1x16A)
Isohaapa: 1 Tesla (3x22kW), 1 (1x16A)
Charging of electric and hybrid cars is only possible at their designated spots.
Electric and hybrid cars must not be charged from the villa’s exterior or interior outlets. Charging points for electric cars are located in the parking area of the main building Isohaapa and the parking area of the conference building Vellamo. Red charging points are designated for Tesla vehicles only, while silver charging points are suitable for all electric cars with a Type 2 charging cable. Charging points other than those for Teslas are not fast chargers.
Villa Aurum:
Guests of Villa Aurum have their own charging point on the villa’s exterior wall. We recommend charging your electric car during the night when other electrical devices are not in use. Charging is prohibited while the electric sauna is on.
When leaving the villa
Cleaning: Guests are responsible for cleaning the villa during and at the end of their stay unless otherwise agreed upon via email. Cleaning includes taking out the trash to the sorting points in the correct categories, washing dishes using the dishwasher, and wiping visible stains and spills from floors and other surfaces. The cleaning area also includes the villa’s terraces and yard (collecting trash, bottles/cans). Please note that ashes from grilling must not be disposed of in the waste bins. Decorations from parties must be cleaned up. If the villa is not left in a tidy condition or if the cleaning is insufficient at the end of your stay, Lehmonkärki Resort reserves the right to charge an hourly cleaning fee for inadequate cleaning.
Waste: The waste containers for energy and mixed waste are located in the waste shed on the villa grounds. Containers for other waste (organic, cardboard packaging, recycling paper, glass, and metal) are in the waste shed next to the main building Isohaapa.
Pool: If the pool has been used, please remember to close the pool covers. The pool must not be emptied or have its water circulation turned off. Upon departure, ensure that the outdoor pool water is at the upper level, that it is heating properly, and that the pool’s thermal cover is closed.
Rental Equipment: If you have rented equipment such as fishing gear, tennis rackets, or an outboard motor, please return it to the reception.
Rowboat: The villa’s rowboat must be pulled up and secured to the shore. Remove the boat’s drainage plug and leave it on the boat’s seat.
Departure: Upon departure, ensure that the property is locked and the ventilation windows are closed.
Complaints
If you notice any deficiencies in the villa’s equipment or cleaning upon arrival during check-in, please notify Lehmonkärki Resort immediately so that the staff can address the issues. Lehmonkärki Resort is not liable for any deficiencies or errors reported after the rental period has ended.
Lehmonkärki Resort is not responsible for discrepancies in views across different browsers, printing errors in brochures, or changes that occur after printing. Promotional photos may feature items that are not included in the villa’s standard equipment. Furniture changes in the villas are possible.
