Located on the shores of Lake Päijänne in Asikkala, AISTI Sauna & Spa is an adults-only oasis of relaxation where the senses awaken and the mind finds peace. Our unique saunas, infinity pool, and outdoor hot tub offer deep relaxation amidst stunning lake views. The spa features an authentic smoke sauna, steam sauna, tar sauna, and a scenic sauna. Year-round, you can refresh yourself in Lake Päijänne, and in winter, in the ice hole.
A Story to Experience
The story of Aisti began in the summer of 2024, when our authentic 100-year-old smoke sauna, which stood on this very spot, burned to the ground. For years, the sauna had offered peace, moments of silence, and warmth even on the darkest evenings. But sometimes loss ignites a new beginning. It sparked an idea: what if we could create something new? Something that would bring together history, storytelling, and relaxation into a greater whole. This gave birth to AISTI Sauna & Spa, where time is no longer something to be measured, but something you can feel.

Opening Hours
In spring, Aisti Sauna Spa is open on Saturdays from 1 PM to 9 PM (smoke sauna from 4 PM to 9 PM)
From early May, starting 2 May, Aisti is open until 20 June on Fridays from 4 PM to 9 PM (smoke sauna from 4 PM to 9 PM) and Saturdays from 12 PM to 8 PM (smoke sauna from 4 PM to 8 PM)

Aisti Sauna
Aisti Sauna is a spacious sauna with large windows offering magnificent views of Lake Päijänne. Aisti Sauna has an electric heater.
Smoke Sauna
Here you will find an authentic and traditional smoke sauna, where the gentle heat and subtle scent of smoke create a calming sauna atmosphere. The soft steam relaxes deeply and offers an authentic Finnish sauna experience. This smoke sauna is heated with genuine Finnish tar alder logs.
Tar Sauna
The Tar Sauna invites you in with the warm scent of tar and exceptionally soft steam. The round igloo shape creates an even, gentle heat, making this one of AISTI’s most beloved saunas alongside the smoke sauna.
Mist Sauna
The Mist Sauna is a compact steam sauna that pampers the skin and breathing. You can also do a sea salt scrub, which softens the skin and is rinsed off in the warmth of the sauna. The steam sauna relaxes the body and offers a soothing counterbalance to the hotter saunas.
Warm infinity pool and outdoor hot tubs
Aisti features a heated infinity pool and hot outdoor hot tubs where you can let go of your worries while enjoying magnificent views. All pools have massage features.
What you should know
We do not allow phones here, so you can focus only on what matters: yourself. Women and men have separate changing and shower facilities designed to calm you before entering the spa area. Aisti has lockable lockers where you can safely store your belongings. At reception, we will guide you to the facilities and explain how to enjoy the spa area.

The ticket includes two hours in the spa area and one bath towel. You also have access to sauna slippers and high-quality domestic bath products scented with genuine essential oils.

You only need a few essentials to enjoy yourself in peace:
- Swimsuit
- A second towel, if desired
- Your own sauna slippers, if desired

Parking
Parking is free and located in front of the reception. The parking area also has two electric charging points operated via the Easy Park app. Additional charging points can be found at Villa Vellamo’s parking area and the villa area.
Accessibility
AISTI Sauna & Spa is located as part of the Salpausselkä ridge nature, and the surrounding area is naturally hilly and rocky. For this reason, there are some stairs on the premises, and the facility is not fully accessible.
Cancellation Policy
Purchased tickets cannot be returned or cancelled unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled by the organizer. Tickets may be transferred once to a new time. The transfer must be made at least 48 hours before the booking begins.

Aisti can be reserved for private use on weekdays in connection with team meetings and team days. The peaceful environment, saunas, and outdoor pools provide the perfect setting for relaxation and recovery during the workday.

Our restaurant offers high-quality culinary experiences prepared from the season’s finest and local ingredients, set against the magnificent scenery of Lake Päijänne. Our carefully designed kitchen combines quality, clear flavors, and a relaxed atmosphere. We are open on weekends year-round, and during the summer season we serve daily. Our restaurant serves conference guests year-round.
