Outdoor jacuzzi user manual
Please wash yourself before entering the pool!
The pool water is suitable when the temperature is between 35–40 degrees Celsius (optimal 38 °C). Do not place the pool cover on the ground. The cover should not be removed but used with its own turning mechanism. To ensure water quality, we add pool chlorine to the pool in accordance with pool guidelines. Please note that chlorine may cause skin reactions, such as itching or rashes, if you are sensitive.
What should I do if the hot tub is showing an error?
In Villa Aurum and the VIP villa, you can clear the error by pressing the cross keys on the screen (Lights and Options) simultaneously for about fifteen seconds. In the villas Aallotar, Ilmatar, and Tuuletar, 2, 5, and 6, follow these steps: First, select Tools using the Mode button. Then press the ON button. Scroll down with the Mode button until you find the lock command. Select OFF to unlock (Lock + = unlocked, Lock – = locked). If none of these steps work, there is a main switch near the wall by the pool that you can turn off for fifteen seconds and then restart the pool. However, note that the pool must never be left without power.
Why does the hot tub water feel cool?
The water temperature of the outdoor pool may be cool (32-37 °C) on the arrival day due to water change. The water will warm up by the next day. We do not recommend using the bubble function if the water feels cool, as it will further lower the water temperature. In winter, using the bubbles is not recommended for more than a few minutes at a time. The pool cover should always be closed after use, even in summer.
Can I use the pool if there is a brown residue on the edges?
Brown residue may accumulate on the edges and filter of the pool, which consists of iron and manganese from the water. Lehmonkärki water is high in iron, which can cause these residues during water changes. To clarify the water, we use non-toxic aluminum sulfate, which cleans the water of iron along with chlorine, so iron deposits may still occur. You can use the pool without concern as the water is tested and clean before guests arrive.
How many people can be in the pool at the same time?
The pool can accommodate as many people as there are seats. However, the water must not overflow, as the jets can be damaged if they are above the water level.
Can I use the pool if the water is cloudy?
Before guests arrive, the pool water quality and temperature are tested and documented. The water is of good quality upon arrival. The water remains good if the pool usage guidelines are followed. If drinks, food, detergent residues, or other impurities get into the pool, the water may become cloudy quickly. The pool should not be used if the water is cloudy and has an unpleasant smell. In such cases, the pool may be put out of service. If the water needs to be changed, there will be an additional charge.
Please note:
- Avoid stepping on the pool control panel!
- Beware of slipping when entering and exiting the pool.
- Glass items, such as drinking glasses, are not allowed in the pool. Sharp objects, sauna fragrances, pets, swimming toys, and other extra items are also prohibited.
- Moderate alcohol consumption is allowed, but it is not healthy when combined with a hot bath.
- Eating in the pool is prohibited!
- Jumping into the pool and diving is not allowed!
- Drinking the pool water is strictly prohibited!
- Children must always be supervised by an adult in the pool. It is not recommended for children under 3 years old.
- If you have a serious illness, heart condition, or are pregnant, it is not recommended to use the pool. Avoid prolonged stays in the pool (recommended 20 minutes at a time). Leave the pool if you feel uncomfortable or tired.
- Only as many people as there are seats should be in the pool at one time.
- The pool water temperature rises about 2 °C per hour. The pool does not heat up when the bubble function is on!
- The pool should be covered with the thermal cover after bathing to keep the water warm and prevent the pool equipment from freezing in winter. This also prevents debris from being blown into the pool. Do not sit or walk on the cover!
- The pool should not be emptied. The pool must always be full of water so that the jets are submerged. If water is displaced from the pool due to excessive numbers of people, the pool may malfunction, causing it not to heat up, and it could freeze and be damaged. Any damage caused by this is the guest’s responsibility. Water circulates normally through the heater when bubbles rise from the bottom of the pool.
- Do not cut off the power to the pool!
- Do not place outdoor torches near the pool or on the terrace!
- Playing music on the terrace is allowed in moderation until 10:00 PM. However, the music should not disturb neighboring cottages!
If the pool water feels cold, do the following:
- Turn off the bubble function.
- Cover the pool with the lid.
- Let the pool rest for a few hours.
The guest is always responsible for supervising the correct use of the pool and ensuring the safety of their guests during use!
