Our restaurant offers delicious taste experiences made from local and seasonal ingredients. The skillfully prepared dishes of our acclaimed kitchen offer a journey into the world of local flavors, complemented by wonderful lake views.
Menu
Lehmonkärki Resort’s menu of the month is a tempting collection of the season’s best flavours and local delicacies. There is a wide range of options to satisfy all tastes and diets. The monthly menu varies according to the season and often includes fresh and local ingredients.
Our food philosophy
The red thread in Lehmonkärki’s food product has been good ingredients and taste for decades. For us, it means the farmers and producers of the villages, from whom we order e.g. root vegetables, garden berries and juices. We get wild berries and mushrooms from nearby forests, fish from Päijänne. We get organic meat and the organic oatmeal used in our morning porridge from our own farm. The raw materials are processed in the hands of our team into delicious food using traditional methods of preparation or with a modern twist, depending on the occasion. This is what I call country gourmet.

CATERING FOR PARTIES
Every year, we design a new wedding menu with seasonal ingredients, from which each couple can choose the options they prefer. We can also create tailor-made menus based on a theme, for example.

Tasty à la carte dishes and cold beverages from local breweries are served daily. If you’re just peckish or want something sweet, we have the most delicious pastries, homemade ice cream, savoury snacks and special coffees.
A unique hunting lodge
Metsästysmaja, with its rustic wilderness spirit, is an atmospheric party space. The log cabin is decorated in a hunting spirit, and a massive stone-clad fireplace blazes in the heart of the space. The log cabin in a quiet location works great as a party and dinner space for 15-25 people, so both small birthday parties and festive dinners are organized here.
In the semi-circular party space, there are five sturdy tables made of planks arranged radially. The massive stone fireplace creates a warm atmosphere in the open space with log logs. The hunting-themed interior and stuffed animals tell about the area’s history and abundant animal species.
