Come and experience the Lehmonkärki Resort Sauna World and give yourself permission to forget everything else for a moment. We offer a sauna experience you won’t forget to remind you how important it is to stop and give yourself time to rest and enjoy life. Our saunas have been built in the traditional way. We heat them with alder and birch wood for several hours.

Many original saunas
The centrepiece of the Sauna World is an authentic Finnish chimneyless sauna which gives the visitors a unique and authentic sauna experience. The gentle heat and natural atmosphere of the chimneyless sauna create a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere where you can fully immerse yourself in the wellbeing and relaxation that bathing in a sauna offers. In the atmospheric igloo sauna, the warm air gently caresses your skin.
The panoramic sauna has a magnificent view of the surrounding nature, as the wall is made entirely of glass. Outside, warm hot tubs and a dip in the refreshing Lake Päijänne await. In winter, a dip in a hole in the ice adds its own health benefits to the sauna experience. There is a large sauna waiting for you afterwards. The Sauna World also includes a large electrically heated sauna inside Isohaapa.

Additional sauna services
In addition to bathing in the sauna, you can order sauna treatments, yoga in the sauna or snacks. What would taste better in a sauna than a great sausage? We also offer vegetarian options. For your sauna beverage, you can choose beer, cider or a soft drink from a local microbrewery.
When you’re feeling completely relaxed, we’ll serve you refreshing beers, ciders and soft drinks made by local microbreweries. You don’t have to move a muscle – just enjoy the fresh beverage and continue relaxing without interruption.

Sauna evenings open for everyone
During the evening, you can relax in the hot outdoor jacuzzis and 4 different saunas: an electric sauna, a wood-heated glass sauna, an igloo sauna and an authentic smoke sauna. In Saunamaailma, there is also the opportunity to take a dip in the refreshing Päijänne and in the winter in the open water. In the sauna night, there is a small selection of salty and sweet snacks, along with special coffees and local breweries. Saunamaailma’s facilities have A rights.

Sauna world for groups
Lehmonkärki Resort’s Saunamaailma is a unique entity formed by four saunas. A glass sauna, an authentic, 100-year-old smoke sauna, an Iglu sauna, an electrically heated sauna and outdoor jacuzzis form a unique whole that you won’t come across anywhere else. The glass sauna has a direct view of Päijänne. Sometimes you can cool off in the clean water of Päijänne and continue saunaing again. In winter, Saunamaailma offers open-air swimming. The sauna facilities have the right to drink, so we can organize your group’s own pool bar in the hot water pool. So you don’t have to get out of the pool to get more thirst-quenching drink.
