The snowy landscape at Lehmonkärki provides a great setting for snowmobiling during the winter season. The area’s varied terrain and ridge scenery make it ideal for guided snowmobile safaris. Our carefully designed disc golf course has varied fairways and provides enough of a challenge to keep players enthusiastic and motivated.

Country gourmet
For decades, Lehmonkärki’s food offering has been centred on good ingredients and great taste. For us, this means food from farmers and producers in the local villages. We order our root vegetables, garden berries and juices from them, among other ingredients. We also get berries and mushrooms from the nearby forests and fish from Lake Päijänne. Our organic meat and the organic rolled oats used in our breakfast porridge come from our own farm. Our team turn the ingredients into delicious food using traditional methods, sometimes with a modern twist, depending on the occasion. This is what I call country gourmet.

Hike and explore the beautiful Päijänne National Park, characterized by its sandy beaches and unique lagoons. Located in southern Lake Päijänne, the park comprises about fifty undeveloped islands and islets, as well as parts of inhabited islands and the Pulkkilanharju ridge. The heart of Päijänne National Park, Kelvenne, is one of Finland’s largest and most impressive ridge islands, shaped by the last Ice Age.
We serve as the official information point for the national park, as part of our commitment to promoting sustainable tourism and environmental responsibility in our area. We aim to provide visitors with information and guidance on environmentally friendly hiking practices and respecting nature, ensuring that every visit to Päijänne National Park is a safe and ecologically sustainable experience. Salpausselkä Geopark was granted UNESCO Global Geopark status in 2022. We are proud to be part of Salpausselkä Geopark, advancing the region’s geological and cultural heritage.
In recent years, we have enhanced our sustainability efforts, as nature and the environment are vital to us. Due to our dedicated and long-term work, we were awarded the Green Key environmental certification and the STF, or Sustainable Travel Finland, label in the summer of 2023. We strive to set an example for other operators in the area and be a responsible choice. It is important to us that you can easily make ecological and responsible choices during your holiday. History
Tourism at Lehmonkärki began in 1967 with the rental of summer cottages, and over the decades, it has developed into the year-round Lehmonkärki Resort.
As a family business, our operations are based on flexibility and continuous improvement of the location, guided by feedback from our guests and supported by our wonderful staff. Our goal is to provide our guests with unforgettable experiences amidst the beauty of the surrounding nature
